The prettiest face belongs to a mother!

Being a mom is the most blessed moment of our lives. At her weakest moment lies a strength of a promising future, "to raise her mini self". Often and rightly being a mom takes a chunk out of us, though voluntarily. So deeply engrossed are we doing what is right that sometimes we let go our guards. Now you may wonder why we need to keep our guards? Well life sometimes gives us tough lessons, the lessons that teach us our real worth. We are worthy enough to be a woman, a mother, a professional or a home maker and live our lives with dignity. We deserve respect and love and all things that really matters like small joys and pleasures of a happy living. None of these things can be taken for granted as much as we deserve them. We get so committed in our roles that we forget our own existence. Yes we gained weight because e were carrying a life within, those stretch marks are a blue print of our babies arrival, the dark circles belong to a mother who's nurtured her infant all night, the silver hair are due to the stress we took in making sure our family and home is a haven for a loved ones to come and bask on. Fifteen twenty years down the line when fine line begin to show and the hormones are causing a havoc we realize our womanhood is on decline. Believe me it's scary and disturbing. Those temper tantrums, heavy heart, tears falling and sometimes pains of the past gushing that we swept under the carpet to deal with later. Too many skeletons in the closet that we gave a blind eye to not because we were unwise but because we were too wrapped up in the comforts of believing that life would come at a stand still if we didn't do what we did. What we didn't do was take care of ourselves.

Signing off here only to continue later, patiently waiting for your thoughts and comments.

Do remember to love yourself.
